The Buckeye’s definitely earned the #1 title against the Texas Longhorns last night in thier 24-7 win. Unfortunately the Buckeye’s kicks were nowhere near as good as Nugent’s or Houston’s kicks. Between Troy Smith, Ted Ginn and Anthony Gonzalez the Buckeyes more than made up for lack of good kicking.

The Buckeye’s first game was a complete blowout - not too suprising. I’m praying that with out a doubt they’ll prove themselves the #1 team next week against Texas.
Being a Packers fan also it is nice to see A. J. Hawk on the Packer’s roster. The Packers don’t look like they’ll have a good a year as the Buckeyes though.
